Bar Spacing
The size of the cage itself is not the only thing to look for – bar spacing is of utmost importance. Small birds like budgies and cockatiels should have narrow spacing (budgies 1cm or less). Always make sure that the bars are not wide enough for your bird’s head to fit through.
